2022 | For the poetry collection "99 voci" by Valeria Milana.
The nine artworks in the collection are not created to represent the poems but to give shape to the feelings they arouse. Indeed, it is not the words used or the concepts expressed that give rise to the paintings, but the atmosphere that the poetry generates, the direction in which it gently advises us to turn our gaze.
The illustrations are realized with the torn sheets of Milana's first poetry collection ("Silenzio d'ombra", 2020, Gruppo Albatros) with the desire to set up an encounter with the new verses. Thus, the paintings become witnesses of two times, able to open a dialogue between two women who are different and equal at the same time.
